2017 was a remarkable year for Imaginators, so we decided to share with you some highlights of what we have done during this year. This year was the first year for Imaginators in its public version, and we are looking forward to big things in 2018.
Happy Users from 65 Countries
During our first month, we have reached 24 countries, but our expansion doesn’t stop at 24, we are closing the year with thousands of happy users geographically diverse from 65 countries. Most of these users are from Asia and the MENA region.
3 Awards
This year Imaginators received 3 awards. It started with Orange Startup Cup competition where Imaginators selected from the top 5 startups to win 50,000 EGP cash prize. Passing through Alexandria’s Techne Summit where Imaginators was participating in the MO4 competition for media startups, and won the first price – mentorship and digital marketing services from MO4 Network worth $10,000 USD. Closing the year with December’s Startup Nova, the official demo day of Innoventures’ Startup Reactor accelerator, where Imaginators win the Most Popular Startup prize taking home €1,000 Euros cash prize from VC4A.
Featured on Product Hunt
During the first days of December we have launched Imaginators on Product Hunt and during its first hour, it went viral to be featured as the #4 product of the day with lots of positive feedback from worldwide hunters & makers. We have gained lots of mentions from international media, features on newsletters, and tweets from our beloved users. Oh, and Product Hunt mentioned us more than 5 times in their newsletter and social media channels.
Product Releases
We’ve been working hard on developing Imaginators to offer you the easiest way to create interactive presentations with the best user experience. Here are some features we have developed during 2017:
- Adding more functionalities to our presentations creator.
- Introducing two types of presentations: Slides and Pages.
- Adding animations and interactive elements.
- Adding carousels that allow you to show too many images in the same space.
- Making our algorithm smarter to show you relevant results.
- Adding support to GIFs.
- Design usable interface.
Accelerators
Imaginators has joined Innoventures Startup Reactor accelerator where they offered us mentoring, funding, and other services to help us take Imaginators to the next level. Imaginators also joined MO4 Network incubator as a result of winning the first prize at Startup Scene competition at Techne Summit where they offer us mentoring and marketing services worth $10,000 USD.
Partners & Events
Our partners create our story. This year we have partnered with many entities who offered us support in several ways and we do really appreciate this. Also, we participated in several events including Riseup Summit, Techne Summit, Startup Nova, BetaPitch, SeedStars, Uber Pitch n’ Ride, Startup Cup, TEDxGUC, Graphic Festival, and many more.

2018 is Approaching
